LiDAR-powered, lighting-independent, and built for the stage. MOVIN TRACIN Stage is a real-time markerless motion capture system for live performances, concerts, and interactive installations. It tracks multiple performers in real time without suits, markers, or performer-specific setup.
Real-time motion capture has traditionally been difficult to use in live production environments. Stages are unpredictable. Lighting changes constantly, performers rotate on and off stage, and once the show starts, productions can't stop for recalibration. MOVIN TRACIN Stage is built around these realities — designed specifically for concerts, live performances, and interactive installations where tracking needs to keep running without interruption.

How the pipeline works
MOVIN TRACIN Stage consists of LiDAR sensors, a processing server, and a web-based GUI for system control and calibration.

LiDAR sensors mounted around the stage continuously scan the space from multiple angles. The server combines the sensor data into a live 3D point cloud, processes full-body motion data, and streams everything directly into the visual pipeline.

In the demo shown above, live audio drives the movement of the virtual stage environment, dynamically shifting the viewer’s perspective in real time. Each performer appears as a uniquely colored point cloud. As performers move closer together, their colors blend before separating again as they move apart.
Why LiDAR for the stage?
Most stage tracking and motion capture systems rely on visible light to track markers or body features. On a live stage, that creates a problem. Laser shows, heavy backlighting, strobes, and blackouts are not edge cases — they are part of the show itself.
LiDAR approaches the problem differently. It emits its own laser pulses and measures the return time to build a precise 3D map of the space. It doesn’t interpret light; it measures distance. Dramatic lighting, darkness, and stage effects do not affect tracking performance.

No suits. No Markers. No performer setup.
Performers walk on stage in their show costume. They enter the capture zone, and tracking begins instantly.
Performers don’t need to wear sensors or attach markers. No T-pose or performer-by-performer setup is required. Costume changes, rotating performers, and last-minute cast adjustments can all happen freely without interrupting the show.
Four real-time data streams for live visuals
MOVIN TRACIN Stage outputs four real-time data streams that connect directly to tools like Notch, Unreal Engine, and Disguise.

Multi-performer tracking that scales with your setup
MOVIN TRACIN Stage tracks multiple performers at once. Performer count scales with GPU power, while stage coverage scales with sensor count.
Each LiDAR unit covers a 360° capture angle. More units mean wider overlap, larger coverage, and fewer blind spots across the stage. A small club stage needs 4 units. A festival main stage may require 8 to 10. The two variables are independent, allowing productions to prioritize either subject count or stage coverage depending on the project.
Technical specifications

MOVIN TRACIN Stage and MOVIN TRACIN
MOVIN TRACIN is the flagship single-performer device — studio-grade motion capture anywhere, with precision down to every finger and wrist. Used across film and VFX, games, VTubing, robotics, and beyond.
MOVIN TRACIN Stage is built for live shows. Multiple performers, any lighting, scalable coverage — it knows where every performer is and how they're moving, and delivers that data to the visual pipeline without interruption.MOVIN TRACIN is built for depth of capture on a single performer.
