MOVIN is the world’s first company to combine LiDAR and AI technologies for real-time markerless motion capture. Its technology has already been validated across various industries including gaming, film, sports, robotics, and Physical AI.
Recently, the company introduced “MOVIN TRACIN Stage,” a live-performance solution built on its flagship product MOVIN TRACIN, marking its expansion into the global live entertainment market.
“MOVIN TRACIN Stage” enables performers to begin motion capture instantly upon entering the stage without the need for wearable equipment. The system allows visual effects such as video and lighting to respond in real time to performers’ movements and positional changes.
While traditional stage production has largely relied on pre-produced video content, MOVIN TRACIN Stage transforms performers’ movements themselves into real-time production elements, enabling more immersive live experiences.
At NAB Show 2026 in Las Vegas — the world’s largest exhibition for broadcasting, media, and entertainment technology held this April — MOVIN showcased the technology through official partnerships with Disguise and Notch.
Disguise supported MOVIN with its latest media server, GX3+, widely used in concerts by global artists such as Adele and Coldplay, as well as in broadcasting and virtual production. This marked the first time Disguise provided the equipment to an external company.
Notch, a globally trusted real-time content creation platform, also directly produced and implemented interactive content integrated with MOVIN’s motion capture technology, demonstrating strong technical synergy between the companies.
During the exhibition, discussions were also held regarding the practical deployment of the technology in real concert and live production environments. Through these collaborations, MOVIN confirmed strong demand and real-world applicability for real-time interactive visual technologies within the global live entertainment and broadcasting industries. The company plans to further expand collaborations with global live entertainment partners moving forward.
Choi Byeoli, CEO of MOVIN, stated, “Demand for real-time interactive visuals is rapidly growing in the global live performance market, which is valued at approximately USD 62 billion. Beyond Physical AI, MOVIN is actively expanding the applications of its technology into the live entertainment sector, and through collaborations with global partners, we aim to create entirely new live performance experiences.”
